LAS VEGAS — David Lemieux does not work on the clock. The Canadian slugger needed less than three minutes to eradicate Spike O’Sullivan with a left hook.
O’Sullivan was bothered by Lemieux’s tenacious body attack. He attempted a jab and was dropped by a perfect counter left hook. O’Sullivan was clearly in duress on his knees and the fight was called off.
The devastating win keep Lemieux in contention as a deadly puncher and possible challenger to Canelo should he win later tonight.
