LAS VEGAS — Jaime Munguia made his second defense of the WBO light-middleweight title with an easy win against an overmatched Brandon Cook.
Munguia towered over Cook and worked thudding overhand rights from long range. When Cook got trapped on the ropes, Munguia would brutalize him with sweeping left hooks to the body.
Cook was dropped early in the third. He rose and was quickly finished by a series of left hooks on the ropes.
Munguia is now 31-0 with 26 KOs.
