Cormega returns later this month with Raw Forever, his first solo album in two years and also the first project to see him backed completely by a live band (The Revelation). Being that 10 years have past since his acclaimed debut The Realness, Mega will be packaging that LP with his new release. Here, the band livens up a familiar break and the emcee’s verses come off as if in a flowing, late-night jam session. The significance of the title is that every track on the new album will be represented by Roman Numerals instead of traditional song titles. Cormega’s Raw Forever hits stores September 27.
