Devoted fans of author Hugh Howey’s bestselling Silo trilogy will soon see the series brought to life with Apple TV+’s ensemble drama led by star and executive producer Rebecca Ferguson (Dune, Mission Impossible series.
The dystopian drama tells the story the last ten thousand people on earth forced to live a mile-deep underground to escape deadly toxins. The silo’s origin remains shrouded in mystery with those seeking the truth meeting fatal consequences. Ferguson, starring as a engineer named Juliette, goes down a rabbit hole of discovery after investigating a loved one’s murder. Her journey for justice leads to one of the show’s ominous taglines, “if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.”
Rounding out the Silo cast includes Common (The Chi), Critics Choice Award and NAACP winner David Oyelowo (Selma) Emmy nomiee Harriet Walter (Succession), Chinaza Uche (Dickinson), Avi Nash (The Walking Dead), Emmy nominee Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) and Academy Award winner Tim Robbins (Mystic River).
