Today at 4:30 p.m. ET, Canelo Alvarez and Danny Jacobs will hit the scales for their middleweight unification matchup. A key point for this afternoon’s event will be the condition of Jacobs, who has re-hydrated to as much as 185 pounds on fight night. Canelo, who competed at the super-middleweight limit of 168 in his last bout in December, will be making his return to 160 to defend the WBA and WBC 160 titles he won from Gennady Golovkin last September. Jacobs will defend the IBF strap he won by defeating Sergiy Derevyanchenko last October.
The fight will stream exclusively on DAZN.
