New Year’s Day 2022 will bring some clarity to the Premier Boxing Champions side of the heavyweight division when “Prince” Charles Martin and Luis “King Kong” Ortiz end their layoffs to face each other. The fight is an IBF eliminator that will put the winner in position to eventually challenge current champ Oleksandr Usyk, or other viable PBC heavyweights such as Andy Ruiz, Robert Helenius or a returning Deontay Wilder.
