Well, the Earth is doomed. That’s my initial reaction after viewing this awesome second trailer for 2019’s Godzilla: The King of the Monsters.
While the first trailer hinted at the other-worldly power of the Titans, this trailer goes all-in with showcasing the potential apocalyptic fallout from these monsters clashing. Mothra has a frenetic attack style of a pissed-off hornet. Rodan looks like fire and brimstone incarnate.
That leaves us with King Ghidorah aka Monster Zero. We’ve never seen him move with this type of the speed and coordination. Even Godzilla looks more nimble on his feet. With how Ghidorah towers over him, we can expect Godzilla needing Mothra and possibly Rodan to take down Monster Zero. And let’s not forget King Kong possibly makes an appearance as this is a setup for epic Godzilla vs. King Kong rematch in 2020.
Godzilla: King of All Monsters hits theaters on May 31.
