When you dance the dance of another, you make yourself in the image of the creator
The unsettling first trailer for Suspiria has arrived. The clip brings us deeper into the darkness of a world-renown dance company that serves as a front for a coven. When the truth is revealed, a nightmarish fight for survival begins between the dance company’s director, a psychotherapist and one ambitious young dancer.
From the images, the film appears to retain the ominous tone of the original, complete with an unseen slasher (this time with a sickle overof a knife) and disturbing images of possession.
Suspiria opens October 26 and stars Dakota Johnson, Twilda Swinton, Mia Goth, Lutz Eberdorf and Chloe Grace Moretz.
