Deontay Wilder created fan bedlam and a media circus when he crashed Friday’s weigh-in for Tyson Fury’s second comeback bout against Francesco Pianeta. It’s no secret that Wilder and Fury are on track to face off later this year. This scene all but confirms that fight has been signed — Wilder could barely keep a straight face when he tried to “go after” Fury.
While scenes like this are too Hollywood for purists, I loved it. The more Wilder builds himself in the UK, the better for future matchups against Fury and (hopefully) Anthony Joshua.
