Felicia “Snoop” Pearson has avoided a seven-year prison sentence by pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute heroin for a Baltimore, Maryland drug organization.
Pearson, 31, was arrested in March following an extensive federal, state and local five month investigation. The case resulted in the arrest of over 60 people for importing marijuana and heroin from California and New York. Pearson’s role in the conspiracy was storing drugs and money in her apartment. She had been jailed since her arrest and originally plead not guilty.
Under the terms of her plea deal, Pearson receives a suspended seven-year sentence and credit for time served. She is allowed to leave Maryland for future acting opportunities, but will remain on probation until 2014.
At press time, Felicia Pearson is maintaining her innocence and plans to move to Los Angeles.
