Adrien Broner is back in jail. The former world champion was arrested at Atlanta’s Lennox Mall late Monday evening after being accused of¬†groping a woman.

According to BSO, Broner is accused of grabbing a woman’s genitals at the mall’s Louis Vutton store. He is being held at the Fulton County Jail with no bond.

“…units spoke with the victim who advised that she had been inappropriately groped by a male later identified as Mr. Adrien Broner,” said the Atlanta PD in a statement.¬†“Mr. Broner denied the accusations and¬†after being interviewed was charged with Misdemeanor Sexual Battery and transported to Fulton County Jail without incident.”

Broner’s last run-in with the law came¬†in September when he punched a man on the Las Vegas Strip.

He is tentatively scheduled to return to the ring on April 21 against Omar Figueroa.

Taxstone¬†(Darryl Campbell) was arrested Monday morning for alleged involvement in last year’s shooting at New York’s Irving Plaza that left one man dead and several wounded.

The arrest occurred without incident in Brooklyn. Authorities revealed that the Hip-Hop personality had a federal warrant for being a felon in possession of a firearm, and by the NYPD for unspecified charges relating to the Irving Plaza incident.

Last May, Taxstone and Troy Ave (Ronald Collins) got into a fistfight backstage at the Irving Plaza venue. The fight turned deadly as gunfire left Troy wounded and his friend and bodyguard, BSB Banga (Ronald McPhatter), dead. Troy would later be charged with firearm possession and attempted murder after cameras caught him firing a gun inside the venue. He has pleaded not guilty and a trial is pending.

The gun, a 9-millimeter Kel-Tec, was traced to a Florida owner who told authorities he gave the firearm to one of Taxstone’s associates in 2015. Although Taxstone¬†and Troy Ave’s DNA was found on the weapon, neither man was named as BSB Banga’s killer in the federal complaint.

Last month, Troy Ave was shot again in an unrelated incident.

Taxstone’s record includes a previous conviction on weapons and robbery charges. He served 18 months on the original sentence then eight months for parole violation in 2010. Another violation in 2012 yielded an 11-day sentence.

MMG founder Rick Ross is back in Fayette county jail for the second time this month after allegedly pistol-whipping his landscaper.

Ross, real name Williams Roberts, and bodyguard Nadrian L. James¬†were taken into custody last night. Ross is alleged to have assaulted¬†Jonathan Zamudio¬†who was¬†hired to do landscaping work¬†on Ross’¬†sprawling, 109-room mansion in Fayetteville, GA.

Ross and James are facing aggravated assault, aggravated battery and kidnapping charges.

‚ÄúSubject did assault the victim, Jonathan Zamudio, (twice), with a handgun, specifically a Glock 17, 9mm, black in color, and in doing so caused two chipped teeth, jaw injury, neck injury, and multiple scratches and contusions,”¬†read the arrest warrant obtained¬†by Billboard.¬†“The victim lost the use of his jaw and is restricted to soft foods and liquid diet only as result of not being able to chew food.‚ÄĚ

The report also claims Zamudio suffered a second assault after being forced to remain at the property against his will.

Earlier this month, Ross was arrested in Fayetteville county for marijuana possession after a traffic stop for tinted windows.

At press time, Ross and James have been denied bail. Their next court hearing is July 1.

I know in 2015 we’re against victim-blaming, but I can’t help but wonder what the worker could’ve possibly done to warrant this beating. Did he break something? Attempt to steal? Dare talk back to the Biggest Boss of Them All?

It’s already looking like Ross’ investment in Evander Holyfield’s¬†OLD residence is becoming more trouble than its worth.

diddy Mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been arrested for assaulting one of his¬†son’s UCLA football coaches. According to¬†a report published on TMZ Sports, the altercation took place at the school’s athletic facility. It stemmed from¬†strength and conditioning¬†coach Sal Alosi¬†yelling at Comb’s son Justin during a¬†training session.

“I don’t care if your father is here,” Alosi is reported to have said. “This is UCLA. I’m going to treat you just like I treat everyone else.”

Combs allegedly accosted¬†Alosi with a kettlebell, prompting campus police to arrest him for assault. Sources from Diddy’s camp claim the Bad Boy mogul was not the aggressor and that the entire incident is on video. UCLA reps released an official statement Monday evening.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m. today, Sean Combs (also known as P. Diddy) was arrested at UCLA‚Äôs Acosta Athletic Training Complex on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, which was a kettlebell. No one was seriously injured and UCPD is investigating. Combs is expected to be transported to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Reception Center later this evening.

Football coach Jim Mora issued the following statement: ‚ÄúI‚Äôm thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved.¬† While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.‚Ä̬†

Diddy was released on Monday after posting a $50,000 bond. He faces three charges of assault with a deadly weapon, making terroristic threats and battery. Alosi is a former assistant coach for the New York Jets that made headlines in 2010 for tripping and injuring Dolphins player Nolan Carroll during a game.

Justin Combs took to Instagram on Tuesday and praised his father without directing addressing the UCLA incident.

Diddy must have confused that UCLA coach with Drake… or maybe Steve Stoute. Regardless, this appears to another case of a parent not being able to handle their kid being read the riot act during training. This happens all the time where parents feel they know exactly how their kid should be coached. Diddy will make a nice donation to the school and this will blow over.

IBF middleweight titlist Jermain Taylor is back in jail for allegedly discharging a firearm Monday afternoon in his native Little Rock, Arkansas.

According to the Little Rock police department, Taylor has been charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of marijuana.

A witness claims to have heard five gunshots near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Taylor was later stopped by police, at which time a gun was retrieved from his vehicle. An unidentified woman and two children were also in the vehicle.

Taylor, who won the IBF title in October from Sam Soliman, was questioned by police last month for allegedly throwing a brick through a woman’s moving car. Taylor was questioned by authorities but not arrested after claiming self-defense.

Taylor will go on trial in June for shooting his cousin last August in a domestic incident. He pled not guilty last month.

Taylor was scheduled to defend the title against Sergio Mora on February 7. However, promoter Lou DiBella confirmed that Taylor has suffered a fractured rib in training, effectively cancelling the bout.

At press time, Taylor has not released an official statement.

Anyone starting to think Taylor’s erratic behavior might be the result of in-ring trauma? It’s worth being said that Taylor has passed all neurological test before his latest comeback, but the former undisputed champ is clearly battling issues that have yet to be diagnosed. And until those are addressed, boxing should be the last thing on his mind.

Bail for rapper Bobby Shurmda (Ackquille Pollard) has been set at $2 million for an assortment of crimes including gun possession, conspiracy and narcotics charges.

Details of the NYPD investigation were laid out in a press conference this afternoon. Special prosecutor¬†Bridget Brennan referred to Shmurda and his GS9 crew as a group of “mindless thugs” who used music as a front for drug trafficking¬†and violence. Upon his arrest on Wednesday (December 18) outside Quad Studios in Manhattan, police retrieved two guns from his person. Brennan also cited Shmurda’s breakout hit single “Hot Nigga” as a valuable tool in pointing the investigation in the “right direction.” The indictment¬†alleges GS9 were involved in over 20 shootings

Wednesday’s bust marks the third 2014 arrest for Shmurda. He was apprehended in June for felony gun possession and in October for marijuana possession.

If convicted, Shmurda faces 8-25 years for conspiracy in the second degree (attempted murder, assault, intent to sell etc.) and 15 years on various weapons charges. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

According to Complex, Shmurda¬†attorney¬†Howard Greenberg has confirmed that the rapper’s label, Epic Records, will cover his legal expenses and pay the bail.

At press time, Shmurda has not released an official statement on the indicment.

Lyrics matter in more ways than you can imagine, ladies and gentleman. Now this young man’s lyrical tales of murder and mayhem, whether autobiographical, fantasy or a combination of both, will be used to put him away. Hard to see him getting out of this with one of T.I.’s deals — New York does not play when it comes to guns.

More on this story as it develops.

Montgomery police had charged a second suspect with the December 28 shooting deaths of rapper Doe B and Troy University student Kimberle Johnson.

Darius Thomas, 25, turned himself in on Wednesday night. He faces two counts of capital murder charges with co-defendant Jason McWilliams, 25, who turned himself in on December 30.

Doe B (Glenn Thomas) and Johnson were killed at the¬†Centennial Hill Bar and Grill on December 28. Police believe the shooting of Doe B was over an undisclosed feud the rapper had with both men. Darius Thomas previously appeared in Doe B’s video “Let Me Find Out,” brandishing a firearm in the opening 11 seconds. Johnson was the only fatality of seven bystanders who were also shot. Before turning himself in, McWilliams took to his social media accounts to deny any role in the killing.

Both suspects are being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Facility. The Centennial Bar and Grill remains closed.
