Hip-Hop Represents At Wrestlemania 27

Those of you who follow me on Twitter have been subject to my tweets about pro wrestling amongst other topics. Last night I attended my first Wrestlemania event here in Atlanta. Aside from the great atmosphere and wrestling, I was pleasantly surprised by the video packages for the main event (The Miz vs. John Cena) that included Nas’ “Hate Me Now” and DMX’s “Prayer III.” These were two of the better video packages WWE has done recently and hopefully is an indicator that the company will look more at meshing Hip-Hop songs with their athletes. God knows there’s enough theatrics between rapper and wrestlers to go around.
