Dipset rapper Juelz Santana has been given a 27-month sentence in his airport and drug trial.
The verdict was handed down Wednesday morning in Newark. Santana accepted a plea deal for bringing a loaded .38-caliber handgun and eight oxycodone pills in his carry-on bag at Newark International Airport last March. Santana fled the scene and later turned himself in.
The Harlem rapper will be under 12 months of supervision after the completion of his sentence.
Santana recently proposed to his long-time girlfriend Kimbella and was a part of last month’s Dipset reunion album Diplomatic Ties.
