Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan have agreed to terms for a welterweight bout on April 23.
The announcement was made simultaneously on Pacquiao and Khan’s official Twitter accounts.
Negotiations between team Pacquiao and team Khan have come to terms for the April 23 bout as this is what the fans wanted. #PacquiaoKhan

My team an I have agreed terms with Manny Pacquiao and his team for a super fight #pacquiaokhan #April23rd

Pacquiao last fought in November, winning a unanimous decision over Jessie Vargas. Amir Khan has not fought since suffering a sixth round KO defeat to Canelo Alvarez last May.
Although preliminary discussions included the UK and United Arab Emirates as potential hosting sites, a venue for the bout has not been confirmed.

Say what you want about Khan’s chin, but the man is about his coins. Most fighters would have to rebuild following a brutal, one-punch KO loss. Khan gets to jump right back on pay-per-view. And if this fight ends up in the UK, Khan will get to retain most of the UK TV money. A couple more million in the bank and yet another “superfight” awaits against Kell Brook no matter the outcome against Pacquiao.
For a guy that missed out on the Mayweather sweepstakes, Khan has done quite well on the business end. As for an early Pacquiao-Khan prediction, let’s just say I strongly believe Pacquiao’s KO drought will come to an end on April 23.
