Viewers of last night’s BET Hip Hop Awards were in for a shock with the trailer debut for Jordan Peele’s Get Out. From the erratic clip, we get a loose premise of an interracial couple traveling to visit Rose’s (played by Allison Williams) extended white family for a weekend getaway. The trip becomes ominous almost immediately for her love interest Chris (played by Daniel Kaluuya), and we discover that young black men have ended up missing from that area for years. Even more terrifying is the black people who remain show signs of severe psychological damage.

Jordan Peele (of Key & Peele sketch comedy fame) is the writer and director of this project which is set to come out in February 2017. This might be quite the viewing for Black History Month.
