QUEBEC CITY, CANADA — WBC light-heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson held his final public workout yesterday at the Place Fleur de Lys mall in Quebec City. The two-hour session was handled by Stevenson’s trainer Javan “Sugar” Hill. Stevenson is viewed as big favorite this Saturday at Pepsi Coliseum when he makes first defense of the year against former super middleweight titlist Sakio Bika, who’ll be making his debut at light-heavyweight.
The fight will air on April 4 on CBS at 3 p.m. ET. The co-main event features Artur Beterbiev (7-0, 7 KOs) against Gabriel Campillo (25-6-1, 12 KOs).
