This track is just… wow. You don’t get much better than this when it comes to straight spitting. Everyone brings their A-game, but Kendrick Lamar delivers what may end up being the best verse of 2013. There are songs in a talented artist’s career where you begin to recognize their greatness potential. For those who were still unbelievers, any doubt about Kendrick’s ability or his intention to be the undisputed best emcee in the game will be eradicated after listening to this.
With that said, it’s a head-scratcher why K.dot’s verse wasn’t placed last. Unfortunately for Sean, sample issues will reportedly keep this off his sophomore album Hall of Fame.

Yup, this verse sure caused a firestorm. Hope it is indeed a wakeup call for all emcees to step their bars up.
