After two high-profile singles in “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun Li,” Nicki Minaj has unveiled the cover art for her fourth album Queen (August 10). Clad in barely there ancient Egyptian-style beads, Minaj’s legendary curves are on full display as she’s perched and surveying the horizon (of her kingdom, I presume).

With the GOOD Music camp dominating June with a slew of releases, it made perfect sense for Nicki to move off of June 15. Expect another single before we get to August 10.

The revolutionaries will not be confined by space and time! This video features Janelle Monae and Erykha Badu freeing themselves from the catatonic prison of an oppressive regime for a lively jam session chock full of social commentary. The queens have arrived, y’all. Let’s pray Ms. Monae blesses us with her new album in short order. The clip is directed by Alan Ferguson.

Janelle Monae’s fun and funky lead single has an official video dropping today at 6 p.m. EST on BET’s 106 & Park. For now, check out the short trailer to wet your appetite.

After dropping this a few months ago on Valentine’s Day, The Black Opera have put together a nice video for their love tribute “Queen of Hearts.” Inspired by Slum Village’s “Climax,” the duo describes the track in their own words below:

While in search of his Queen of Hearts, or some would say, KUEENZ of Heart, the King was not very trusting with any of his beautiful possibilities. Once he learned how to trust himself, then and only then, was he able to trust and LOVE Without A Limit.

Their album Libretto: Of King Legend is available HERE.
