UNDERGROUND ATLANTA — The talent of the Starz hit crime drama BMF descended on Atlanta last night to celebrate the season 3 premiere at the “BMF: A History In the Making” Pop-Up.
Curated via a joint collaboration with Cam Kirk Studios, BMF stars Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory (“Demetrius Flenory) and Da’Vinchi (“Terry Flenory”) were joined by Atlanta 2 Chainz, Kandi Burruss, Da Brat and Big Boss Vette. Other BMF season 3 stars in attendance included Cynthia Bailey (“Gloria”) and Sydney Mitchell (“Lawanda”).
The season 3 premiere was screened exclusively for attendees. Tastemakers were treated to several early 90s-themed photo booths, a vintage car, and a recreation of the show’s used vinyl shop, Woolf’s Records.
The BMF Pop-Up is currently sold out and scheduled to run at Underground Atlanta (62 Pryor St. SW, Atlanta, GA) this Friday (February 23) and Saturday (February 24) from 12-8pm, and Sunday (February 25) from 12-5pm.
BMF season three jumps to the early 90s with Meech relocating to Atlanta to grow the BMF syndicate. Terry remains in Detroit to face the dangers of the city alone. Other plotlines include the continued rocky marriage of Charles and Lucille Flenory, and an uneasy alliance between Detectives Bryant (Steve Harries) and Jin (Kelly Hu).
BMF season three premiers on Starz on March 1.
