Atlanta’s Buried Alive Film Festival makes its long-awaited return this week from March 31-April 2.
The event takes place at 7 Stages Theatre from the storied Little Five Points neighborhood. Thursday begins with the “Sinema Challenge,” a showcase where filmmakers randomly select a horror genre from a deck of cards and have 13 days to complete the movie. The remaining days feature short film blocks divided into gory topics — “Deep and Decaying,” “Bury the Hatchet,” “Flesh and Blood,” and “Unholy Unions.”
The festival has announced the feature films Duyster, What Happens Will Scare You, a retro classic screening of From Dusk Til Dawn, and Unearthed Films’s restoration of the cult classic Calamity of Snakes.
The full schedule is available now and also full event and customized tickets.
