The original four-woman lineup for Xscape is back. The Atlanta quartet announced a reunion today that ends a 12-year recording drought.
The comeback was officially made this afternoon on Atlanta station V-103. Kandi Burruss took to Instagram to share a video that included Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and Tamika Scott. Although LaTocha Scott wasn’t present in the video, the singer later confirmed her participation in the reunion via her own Instagram page.

Starting in 1994, Xscape released three consecutive platinum albums with Hummin’ Comin’ At Cha, Off the Hook and Traces of My Lipstick. After splintering due to creative differences and solo aspirations, the group’s last release was a 2005 single entitled “Unchained.”
Xscape is returning to a very different music landscape. Do you think they can make a successful comeback and who do you want to see them work with?
