Lee O’Denat, better known as Q and the founder/CEO of WorldStarHipHop, died Monday night in his sleep. He was 43 years old.
O’Denat founded WorldStarHipHop in 2005 as a content aggregating blog. His reliance on shock value helped make the site one of the biggest brands for urban entertainment. The site’s coverage of Hip-Hop, street fight clips, explicit model footage and controversial videos that include public shaming and child abuse make it one of the net’s biggest sites with 1 million unique visitors per day.
