Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana have welcomed their first child, a son named Eissa, into the world today.
The 50-year old singer confirmed the new through a rep to People Magazine.
“Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world,” read a statement. “Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”
News of the pregnancy became public last May when Jackson cancelled her Unbreakable World Tour.
Jackson and Mana, a Qatari businessman, were wed in 2012.
