President-elect Donald Trump and Kanye West posed for pictures this morning after a meeting at Trump Tower.
The pair stopped briefly to pose for pictures with Trump referring to Kanye as a “good man” and long-time “friend.” The president-elect said their discussion was about “life.” Kanye declined to answer any specific questions, stating he was just content to take a picture.
West made headlines last month when he praised Trump during a San Jose concert.
“If I would’ve voted, I would’ve voted on Trump,” he said. “Not only did I not vote, but there were a lot of things I actually liked about Trump’s campaign… His approach was fucking genius, because it worked.”
On November 21, West hospitalized after suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation.
West is expected to resume his Saint Pablo tour in January.
Others who met with Trump today include Jim Brown and Ray Lewis.
UPDATE: Kanye West took to Twitter to explain the details behind the meeting.
I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues.
