Former Death Row CEO Suge Knight has surrendered to authorities after being named as the prime suspect in a fatal hit and run that occured yesterday evening in Compton.
The incident happened outside a movie set for Ice Cube and Dr. Dre. Suge arrived with friend Terry Carter and were told by security to leave, resulting in a brief fight. Per TMZ, Cube and Dre were not on set at the time of the fight.
Police claim that a second fight happened at a nearby fast food restaurant. Carter was allegedly trying to get back into the car when Knight put the vehicle into reverse, resulting in Carter being ran over twice. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Knight’s bail has been set at $2 million.
