Trinidad James rose the ire of resident NYC enforcer Maino earlier this week by claiming “ATL runs NY” musically, and then adding if someone had an issue, they could “do something.” Well, that last part about “doing something” was the invitation to take things outside of music, which Maino eloquently explained to James via Twitter a few days ago. During a call earlier to Hot 97’s morning show, Maino says that James should apologize and get “disciplined” for his affront.
Violence should always be the last resort for any adult, but if you invite that type of energy carelessly, which James did indeed do in closing statements, then he should not be surprised that someone has taken him up on that offer.
