A spectral Tuapc Shakur returned from a 16 year sabbatical to perform live this weekend at Coachella 2012. How, you ask? Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg created a hologram image of the late icon for renditions of “Hail Mary” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted.” Dre have told media beforehand that he’d try for a Nate Dogg hologram, but this Pac one was a special surprise. As with most successful mainstream Hip-Hop ideas, you can expect this innovation to be appropriated by other artists with the financial means. Never thought seeing Pac would remind me of a Force Ghost.
