After a six year hiatus, DJ Quik will return with his eighth solo album on April 20 entitled Book of David.
Quik last album was 2005’s Trauma, which featured T.I., AMG, Jodeci and Wyclef Jean. In 2009, he released a joint LP with Kurupt named BlaQout.
A tracklisting hasn’t been released, but Quik is expected to have guest spots from Suga Free, Jon. B, Ice Cube, Dwele and Bizzy Bone.
The first single, “Luv of My Life,” can be heard below. Book of David will be released on Mad Science/Fontana.
