“Dyed by hair jet black to match my soul…”
Copywrite is following up last month’s “Don’t Kill Me” with a clip for the Josh Gabriel (Gabriel & Dresden)-produced “Serotonin.” Unlike the last offering, Copywrite uses drug, fantasy storyline of sorts to accompany the music. Some shots will elicit a laugh, such as Copywrite peeing his girlfriend/wife’s shampoo after being cuckolded. The beat is one of those tracks you either love or hate due to plodding, computerized effects, which build to a frenetic pace over the latter half of the song. “Serotonin” is off the Ohio emcee’s latest LP, The Life and Times of Peter Nelson. The video is directed by Nicolas Heller.
