Here’s the second part of AZ’s exclusive interview with Mikey T the Movie Star. Sosa got the obligatory questions about Nas and the Firm. On Nasir’s move towards move socially conscious music, AZ explained that was a move everyone should’ve seen coming from the select songs he made on earlier albums like “Black Girl Lost” and “I Want to Talk to You.”
“That’s him, we always seen he was going that route,” AZ stated. “He’s for the people…I think it’s a good path. We need it out here. We gotta talk to the kids…”
AZ also discusses his wish list of producers, Foxy Brown’s current status, and the young emcees he’s feeling in the game.
