With Jay Z having listed it as one of his 4:44 inspirations, ATL’s Playboy Carti has finally unleashed some visuals for his massive hit “Magnolia.” Special effects abound as Carti acts out the chorus on the streets of NYC. Look out for an appearance from A$AP Rocky. Carti’s self-titled debut is available on all streaming platforms.

For his latest video, A$AP Rocky and his mob venture through London. Directed by AWGE, “JD” can be found on Rocky’s last album At.Long.Last.A$AP.

A lot of hands touched this one. Schoolboy Q’s guest spot aside, the production for “Electric Body” features Hector Delgado, Danger Mouse, THC and Teddy Walton. I get why some people won’t care for the chorus, but I dig it since it’s references a classic XXX house track from my high school days. Rocky’s At.Long.Last.A$AP drops on June 2.

NYC emcees normally fail miserably when attempting trap music. That’s not the case with A$AP Rocky, who adapts that sound with lyrical homages to Houston and his native Harlem in “Multiply.” The visuals blend seamlessly with the lyrics. This song is the kickoff of what Rocky has dubbed “Flaco Joyde Season.” No word yet on if that also serve as the title of his next album.

The emcees are throwing haymakers on this special “Black Friday” remix of Justin Timberlake’s “TKO.” There’s no concessions made for radio play; Cole sets the tone with a hard verse that adopts some of Migos’ flow while finally addressing Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse. Pusha T stakes his own claim, boasting that he’s been hot since “the Purple Tape.” While not as good as the aforementioned performances, A$AP’s verse is serviceable as well. The original TKO can be found on Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience.

All this is missing is gunshots and the sound of pedestrians getting ran over. ASAP Rocky is one of many Hip-Hop artists that will be a part of the soundtrack for next month’s release of Grand Theft Auto 5 (September 17). You can check out the full game soundtrack HERE.

Joe Budden has had this Kendrick Lamar record in the stash for a few days and wisely waited for the smoke to clear before dropping it. As he states early on, this freestyle is basically “a closer” to the lyrical assault that was kicked off by fellow Slaughterhouse Joell Ortiz. There’s a lot of “collateral damage” heard on here, with guys like ASAP Rocky, Meek Mill and Joey Badass catching some lyrical shrapnel. People will still be awaiting responses from the guys actually named by, but you’d be hard-pressed to imagine the targets creating better responses than what we’ve heard.
