After a week of getting his reputation dragged through the mud, Drake has re-emerged on OVO Radio to drop “Charged Up.” Although names aren’t checked, Drake clearly goes at Meek Mill in the opening bars, referring to him as a “charity case” and someone who “snitched without interrogation.” He later dismisses Meek’s stature by alluding to Nicki Minaj being the better emcee (“No woman ever had me starstruck/Or was able to tell me to get my bars up”).
While there will be jokes (myself included) about whether a team of writers got this together for Drake, Meek Mill still needs to finally hop off of Twitter and address this in the booth.
