VERONA, NEW YORK — Mike Tyson was on hand yesterday to facilitate his first weigh-in as a promoter ahead of tonight’s season-ending edition of Friday Night Fights (appropriately dubbed “Tyson’s Back”). The card is headlined by an IBF junior lightweight title match between champion Argenis Mendez and Arash Usmanee. The co-feature is for the vacant WBA featherweight title, pitting Claudio Marrero vs. Jesus Andres Cueller. Supporting Tyson’s new endeavor were former fighters turned trainers Micky Ward, John David Jackson and Eddie Mustafa Muhammad.
The card is set to air tonight on ESPN 2 at 9 p.m. ET, live from the Turning Stone Resort Casino.

Yup, Tyson will always have a strong legacy because of how exciting he was in the ring and the wild character he was outside of it. After years of struggle, he seems to have finally found some peace.
