I’ll go on record as saying HBO’s “Face Off” is one of the network’s best boxing ideas in recent years. It allows the fighters to connect with fans based on the merits of their inherent charisma. Unlike the last “Face Off” between Jean Pascal and Bernard Hopkins, the trash talking here with David Haye and Wladimir Klitschko has a more subdued, simmering intensity. The sore spot for Wladimir is Haye’s claims that he’ll decapitate both Klitschko brothers. You’ll see starting at the 7:15 mark that Wladimir clearly wanted to take a swing at Haye (Vitali probably would have). July 2 can’t come soon enough.
