This reinterpretation of "Halftime" is slower and has a stronger church/blues feel from the organ-like sound effect present throughout the track. Elzhi's on point with the bars; and you can hear the nods he makes to Nas' original arrangements in some of the rhyme schemes.

Elzhi’s released what will likely be his last preview before dropping his tribute/remake of Nas’ Illmatic (ELmatic) on May 10. This reinterpretation of “Halftime” is slower and has a stronger church/blues feel from the organ-like sound effect present throughout the track. Elzhi’s on point with the bars; you can hear the nods he makes to Nas’ original arrangements in some of the rhyme schemes.
