BETHLEHEM,PA — Amir Mansour is back in the win column after delivering a chilling 7th round KO of Fred Kassi Saturday night at the Sand Casino Resort.
The 42-year-old Mansour made a concerted effort to work the body while bringing big right hooks upstairs. Kassi found himself trying to fight off the ropes, and that proved to be his undoing. Mansour swung a chopping left hand and followed with a thunderous right hook that put Kassi face-first on the canvas.
Mansour rebounds from an exciting, 10-round unanimous decision defeat to Steve Cunningham in April. He improves to 21-1 (16 KOs).
