Skyzoo x Torae – “Blue Yankee Fitted”

When putting together the first single, we knew we wanted it to be something that checked everything off of the list as far as the album goes. For the first single off their Barrel Brothers (May27) project, Skyzoo and Torae catch lightning in a bottle by effectively capturing the classic NY boom-bap sound. Producer !llmind even adds a creative homage to Tribe by adding some of the sounds from “Midnight.” Only question now is if these two can keep this up for an entire album together.
