The love interest in this clip is giving me Rae Dawn Chong flashbacks (that’s a good thing). One of the top Youtube comments for this song refers to it as “Adult Contemporary Hip-Hop” (read: Hip-Hop for those 30 and up). That’s a term that applies and these are the type of tracks LL should be focusing on instead of half-baked attempts like the much-maligned “Rachet.” Now, if LL’s street records are as solid as this, that next album may just be worth putting on the radar.
