A new BBBofC British heavyweight champion was crowned yesterday when undefeated David Price delivered an impressive fourth round KO of Sam Sexton.
Make no mistake, Price is still a work a progress with only 13 fights under his belt. But if he isn’t rushed too quickly, he’ll definitely be a force in the division for years to come. His 6’8, 246 pound frame has drawn comparisons to the Klitschko brothers. However, what already separates him from that championship duo is Price’s ability to fight on the inside. Although Sexton found his best success there, Price dropped him with a short uppercut and finished matters with a very compact right hook. Add on Price’s commitment to body punching and high punch output, and you have one of the heavyweight division’s more promising up and coming fighters.

what i like about price is that he knows how to finish a fighter in exciting fashion unlike the klitchkos… he steps on the gas and uses a variety of punches… the brothers will prob try and get him in the ring early while hes a working progress, hopefully he will take his time though, defend the lonsdale and commonwealth belts, then step up to european, defend it and then step onto world level… he can already take most the world top 10, but i just dont wanna see him take on the terrible 2 just yet
