Looks like “Marvin’s Room” wasn’t just an isolated track. Drake’s latest Take Care leak, “The Real Her,” has him taking the role of an R&B singer with Wayne handling rap duties. These down tempo grooves may be bit repetitive to some, but it’s the best production to help the limitations of Drake’s vocal range. As always, Drizzy does a good job in capturing the small nuances of courtship and initial intimacy encounters between young adults. Wayne’s verse is not particularly memorable. Songs like this would be better balanced with a verse or singing from Nicki Minaj, which would add a female perspective.
