Throughout tonight, Drake is promising to give fans three songs off his upcoming sophomore album Take Care. This first one, "Club Paradise," has 40 setting a somber, slow-grooving atmosphere for Drake's musing on lost love, the disappointment of stardom and rediscovering your roots.

This first one, “Club Paradise,” has 40 setting a somber, slow-grooving atmosphere for Drake’s musing on lost love, the disappointment of stardom and rediscovering your roots. The structure and tone of the track is reminiscent of “Paris Morton Music.” Even though the traditional hard drums you expect on a Hip-Hop song never come, Drake’s flow and content is enough to hold your attention. Drizzy’s off to a good start with these free releases.
