MIAMI, OK — Former street and MMA fighter Kimbo Slice (1-0, 1 KO) needed only 17 seconds to knock out James Wade (0-2) in his boxing debut Saturday night (August 13) at the Buffalo Run Casino. Slice, 37, pounced on the backpedaling Wade with short hooks before catching him with a right uppercut. The shot left 39-year-old Wade sprawled on his back across the bottom rope. Slice worked with junior middleweight contender Alfredo Angulo for this bout and will continue his boxing career under Gary Shaw Promotions.
