Golden Boy held an unusual 8 PM press conference last night (June 29) for the Los Angeles stop of their “Star Power” media tour with Floyd Mayweather and Victor Ortiz. Being in LA, the Mexican Ortiz was the fan favorite. Mayweather got a lot of boos in the beginning, but subdued that when he verified he desire to face Pacquiao should he get by Ortiz. Mayweather also took a few digs at Manny for their past acrimonious negotiations by profusely thanking Ortiz for taking the random drug tests.
The other interesting news, Mayweather says he’ll fight toe to toe like he did in the Mosley fight.
