When a buzzing Hip-Hop artist gets signed to a major label, there’s a justifiable worry that their music’s integrity will become compromised. That’s not a worry I have with Big K.R.I.T. The Mississippi standout appears to be sticking by his guns and continuing the sound that got him to the big dance in the first place. All the more impressive that he’s been doing this on Def Jam, a label in recent years that has a shaky track record with its artists.
