Boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard conducted an extensive, 34 minute interview with NPR on his boxing career and other revelations made in his new autobiography The Big Fight. Leonard talks about his famous opponents (Hagler, Hearns, Hagler etc.), how to recover from being hurt in the ring and how he almost did not turn profressional.There’s some things I heard that I didn’t know, like Leonard sending spies to observe Hagler’s training camp for weaknesses.
