“Only the Rugged Survive” is the first single off Wu-Tang’s upcoming album Legendary Weapons. It’s being billed as the follow-up to 2009’s Wu-Tang Chamber Music and will feature Ghostface Killah, RZA, Method Man, Cappadonna, Inspectah Deck and U-God. In addition, the album will have guest production spots from Noah Rubin, Fizzy Womack (Lil Fame of M.O.P.) and Andrew Kelly.
This song is a solo feature for RZA, who retains his usual erratic, off-beat flow. Noah Rubin handles the boards with a sound that’s in accordance with what Wu fans expect. Legendary Weapons hits stores on June 28.
