AZ dropped one such example today with this Chuckii Booker sampling version of “Games.” Long-time fans of Sosa know that he’s always had an affinity for smooth R&B tracks going back to his first single “Sugar Hill.” Instead of just sampling a portion, AZ puts himself into a guest emcee format and let’s the vocals from the original “Games” ride out. For those of age in the 90s, you’ll recall this format was used heavily during the mid and latter part of that decade anytime rappers and singers linked up. Keep emptying the faults, AZ!
