Talib Kweli and Nick Javas will give fans some special Hip-Hop commentary with an exclusive Pepsi Max commercial, set to air for this weekend’s Colts-Jets playoff game. Kweli and Javas trade rhymes on the strengths and weakness of both teams, and offer background in the brewing rivalry between the two clubs. The clip will air coming out the game’s two-minute warnings.
Forget selling out, Talib Kweli and Nick Javas have sold in! In all seriousness, this is an excellent look for Kweli preceding the release of his newest album, Gutter Rainbows, on January 25. For DJ Premier protegé Nick Javas, you couldn’t ask for a bigger introduction to the mainstream.
