Nearly every day, MTV is revealing a new entry on their Top 10 Hottest MCs in the Game list. Today, the network announced that Nicki Minaj came in at #6.
The discussion panel was composed mostly of current or former MTV News correspondents. Shaheem Reid cited Minaj’s verses on “My Chick Bad,” “Monster,” and the “All I Do Remix” as proof of her merits as an elite emcee. Others, like Shelia Gullon, lauded Minaj’s entertainment appeal. But she also acknowledged many females do not like the Young Money first lady for that very reason.

I won’t comment in full until the entire list is revealed on Sunday. For now, I will just say pay attention to the fact they say “hottest” over “best.” That’s a very big difference.
