Riyadh Season Scores Key Promotional Partnerships with Top Rank and Golden Boy

Riyadh Season now has familiar names and faces attached to its U.S. expansion efforts.

Riyadh Season now has familiar names and faces attached to its U.S. expansion efforts. Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the Board of the Directors of the General Entertainment Authority, today announced strategic partnership agreements with Top Rank and Golden Boy.

Aimed at “bolstering the promotion of top-tier boxing events throughout the world,” Riyadh Season’s first Golden Boy collaboration begins August 10 with Vergil Ortiz Jr.’s bout against Serhii Bohachuk in Las Vegas. Ortiz was previously rumored to appear on the Riyadh’s U.S. debut card taking place in August 3 and headlined by Terence Crawford vs. Israil Madrimov.

The agreement paths the way for Golden Boy’s fighters to begin fighting internationally with significant financial backing. Golden Boy’s current roster includes Ryan Garcia, William Zepeda, Yokasta Valle, Oscar Collazo, Marlen Esparza, Arnold Barboza, Jose Ramirez, Gilberto Ramirez and numerous others.

With Top Rank, Riyadh Season will sponsor 12 events to take place this year and into 2025. The partnership will allow Riyadh to participate in the marketing build-up and fight night presentations of each card.

Separately, Top Rank’s first U.S. dealings with Riyadh will come August 3 via their undefeated heavyweight Jared Anderson, who faces Martin Bakole in the co-main event.

The two partnerships follow Riyadh Season’s recent international hosting of the undisputed heavyweight title fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.

Riyadh Season’s August 3 card airs live from BHO Stadium on PPV.com, ESPN+ PPV and DAZN.
